I’ve worked in the wedding industry for almost 14 years now! I’m not joking. My first job ever was at a Country Club clearing the plates of wedding guests and it just went on from there. Planning, participating, getting married, bridesmaiding, shooting, half my life now. You’d think I’d get sick of it or that weddings wouldn’t excite me anymore. That’s just not the case! And this season especially, I get reminded over and over and over that I LOVE a wedding!
And the Long wedding did not disappoint. I was so excited when Shannon, a friend of mine from high school, asked me if I would be willing to travel from NY to MI, my hometown, to shoot her wedding! A Detroit Wedding! The day went off without a hitch! They clearly had assembled the dream team! I had too! I brought along Jessica of Viridian and Ivy Photography in Toledo and she was a HUGE help in getting all the right shots.
