Guys, I have some awesome newborn goodness for you on this Friday!
I think I’ve mentioned before, but newborn sessions are one of my favorite kind of sessions. It’s an area that I have done the most “homework” on and I love the intimacy of newborn sessions. I love snuggling new babies and talking to their parents about their story. Love it. And this session ended up being TWO days long (hehe) so I got to spend two whole days with this AWESOME family!
Okay and my newborn sessions aren’t usually two days, but day one did not go as planned. You see, Jeff and Casey had just moved in to a new temporary space while they build a home and weren’t familiar with the heating system. We all tried, Casey, Jeff, My assistant Courtney, Me…. none of us could get it to work. So I had my space heater cranked but mister Corey could not fall asleep in the cold without all his sleep sacks on. I don’t blame him. So after a couple hours of fussing with the heater and trying to make it work anyway, we called it. I did snap a few pictures of big brother Evan and a clothed baby Corey before I headed home.
Courtney and I came back a couple days later to try again. This time in a nice warm room with lots of light. The perfect set up but Corey did not want to sleep! We were there for another 3 hours and I’d say he slept for 30 minutes of that time. HAHA! So we had to work FAST! But despite all the craziness, the lack of sleep from mister Corey, the fact that some people got peed on *not me this time! MWAH HAHA*, the final images are some of my favorite newborn photos EVER!!

Jeff and Casey- You’re AMAZING! Thanks for being such wonderful sports and thanks for letting me come back a second time so I could get the good stuff! I so enjoyed our hours and hours together getting to know you! Enjoy your pictures! <3
