My first day back to work.
My life was my life, and then my husband danced with death, and then my life was completely different.
And after 2 months off, almost to the day, I went back to work and shot Carrie & Dan’s wedding. And everything is different. I see it all so differently now. The judge said something during his speech… along the lines of, it only takes two to witness a marriage to make it legitimate, but everyone here is part of the community that will hold them up in the future… And I cried. I’m so thankful for the community. I’m so thankful for Dan & Carrie who welcomed me in with open arms. It was a joy to capture your day!
