Wedding Wednesday!
Okay so, I’m pretty big on meeting all my couples before their wedding day. I encourage engagement shoots or chats over coffee or both! In the year leading up to Alicia and Alan’s big day, I got to spend a lot of time with them. We did an engagement shoot, a family shoot as a Christmas gift, and Alicia did a special pre-bridal session with me. By the time their wedding day rolled around, they were like old pals. It just gives the day this nice feel. It makes it possible for me to wrangle up 13 groomsmen for a photo with relative ease and it helps that the bride trusts me when I say “I won’t let you get rained on but we’re staying outside right now”. LOL
The weather was CRAZY! It was perfectly sunny and then POURING rain, it cleared up again for family photos, only to open up on us again! We rolled with it though and we all know a little rain on your wedding day is good luck!
