Want to know what’s new with me? Oh my gosh you guys I totally have a cavity! I am so upset! I just know it! AH! Dentist in t-minus two weeks to face my fate… send all the laughing gas to me! HALP!
Ok- now that I got that out of my system- Are you guys ready to see something awesome?
Becky & Mike are married! This wedding was a dream for so many reasons! I’ve known Becky since freshman year of high school. Want to know my favorite thing about Becky? Her laugh! it’s.the.best.ever. 😉 I met Mike at a friend’s wedding last year and I am telling you, I knew he was the one for Becky. He was charming, a gentleman, easy to talk to, funny, polite, and had eyes for Becky and Becky only. I swear I left and told friends who knew Becky but hadn’t met Mike that she was going to marry him.
Well, Ta-Da!!! They are married!
Becky and Mike wanted something completely unique out of their wedding photos- and a challenge for me- near 100% candid photos. Yep. When I get contracts back from brides, they are usually peppered with a detailed time line down to the minute, shot requests, “must have” photos, and a blocked off hour for photos. Not Mike and Becky- their contract basically said “just come take pictures”. I was a tad bit nervous (I’m a bit type A) but it proved to be awesome. For all their “portrait” photos- I gave them maybe 5 minutes worth of direction the entire time. The rest of the time they just ran around the beach and loved on each other. AWESOME! So what you are about to see is as close to a 100% candid wedding as this type A photog could give….totally rockin! A Michigan beach wedding where the sun didn’t set until past 10pm! *le sigh* Okay- on with the photos! ENJOY!!!
